So, how'd we come up with a name like 3rd Born Lefties? Brevity and levity...
We're both third born, middle children. We're both southpaws, but play guitar right-handed. Both our birthdays are the 3rd week in June.
The Bothsters is too hard to say,and the 3rd Born Late June Boomer Lefties is simply too long.
I really like the duo, Lick N Gravy... Salt of the earth, talented folks. I thought well, "Why not call ourselves Meaty Okra?" I think it's funny, and disarms critics. However, the Leinad Nellipinski Steering Committee Against Comically Deprecating Band Names (LNSCACDBN) voted it down.
